Here we are going to have a look at a Great Britain 1 Pound Banknote that was made in the years 1978-80. Its catalog reference number is P 377a. This paper money has on it’s front side an image of Queen Elizabeth II wearing royal crown. The denomination appears at the top right with symbol: £1 and at the bottom left as ONE POUND. It is was issued by the Bank of England which is noted at the top.

The reverse side is found in the 2nd picture, underneath. It features an image of Sir Isaac Newton who is arguably one of the most important scientists of all times. Perhaps best known for his work on gravity, he also greatly contributed to advancing math as well as optics.
Though this Great Britain 1 Pound bank note has seen circulation its not particularly dirty and has some crispness left to it. It appears to be a very fine grade.
